Bennett: Our Chief Priority is Safety
COLUMBUS - Today,
Ohio Republican Party Chairman Bob Bennett said that the Ohio
Republican Party is continuing to monitor the storm situation in the
gulf and
planning accordingly for the safety of the entire delegation.
"Our chief priority
is the safety of our delegates, guests, visiting
friends and family and Florida residents. We are continuing to monitor
the
situation and will update everyone as the situation evolves."
The Republican National Convention will convene on Monday, August 27th
and immediately
recess until Tuesday afternoon, August 28th due to the storms in the
gulf.
