THE DEVIL IS DEAD
Well folks, after nearly 10 years we finally got him. On Sunday night,
Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by an elite team of Navy SEALS.
He was shot in the head and in the chest. Reports about the raid show
he may have used one of his wives as a human shield during the special
operation and firefight.
If true, Townhall Political Editor Guy Benson summed it up perfectly:
“Sick, selfish, misogynistic, and craven to the bitter end. Given the
opportunity to die a “glorious” martyr’s death -- a fate to which he’d
merrily condemned countless zealots through the years -- bin Laden was
so terrified that he used his youngest wife to shield himself from our
SEALS’ bullets.”
Bin Laden was hiding in plain sight for nearly five years just five
minutes from Pakistan’s version of West Point, which means Pakistani
officials have a lot of explaining to do. Pakistani President Asif Ali
Zardari denies knowing anything about Bin Laden’s location or harboring
the most wanted terrorist in the world. On top of Bin Laden’s hideaway
in the “ally” country, the majority of high profile terrorist suspects
have been caught in major Pakistani cities throughout the years.
Pakistan was not informed of the covert operation to kill Bin Laden
before the operation was carried out. The U.S. gives the country
billions of dollars in aid per year. Rep. Allen West and Senator Marco
Rubio have called for Pakistani officials to explain themselves and for
re-evaluation of our relationship with the country.
The key component to the success of the final take down of Bin Laden
came from information obtained through harsh interrogation techniques
such as waterboarding conducted in secret prisons overseas, meaning all
the kicking and screaming from the Left about how interrogation
techniques don’t work have been proven false on so many levels.
The White House is still debating about whether to release photos of
Bin Laden’s body after he was killed.
OBAMA RELEASES LONG FORM
BIRTH CERTIFICATE
It’s fair to say it was a bad week for birthers and 9/11 truthers.
Osama bin Laden was killed and President Obama released his long form
certificate of live birth after Donald Trump threw the national media
into a frenzy over where President Obama was really born. Obama said he
had better things to do than defend himself over whether he is a U.S.
citizen…just a few short days later, he announced Bin Laden had been
killed and dropped into the sea.
DEVASTATION IN ALABAMA
As the world was consumed with the Royal Wedding across the pond,
Americans in Alabama were devastated this week by a mile wide tornado
that ripped through Tuscaloosa, destroying everything in its path.
President Obama visited the ravished region and ensured that the
federal government would do everything it could to help.
OH CANADA!
The political atmosphere surrounding our Canadian friends to the north
is looking up. The Tories (their conservatives) won enough of the vote
this week during the Canadian national election to give them the
majority in parliament. Not surprisingly, the lefties in Canada are
called BlocQuebecois. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is part of
the Tories and now enjoys a conservative party majority for the first
time since 1988 by promoting lower taxes, avoiding climate change
legislation and increasing funding for the military. Harper has been in
office since 2006.
NRA CONFERENCE
Thousands gathered over the weekend in Pittsburgh, PA, (land of the
bitter gun clingers according to President Obama) for the annual
National Rifle Association Convention. Former Arkansas Governor Mike
Huckabee was the keynote speaker for the event and rocker-outdoors man
Ted Nugent also made an appearance. During the conference, NRA
Executive Vice President called for the resignation of Attorney General
Eric Holder in light of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and
Explosives Project Gunrunner scandal which allowed and encouraged
American gun shops to sell mass amounts of semi-automatic weapons to
drug cartels. ATF and the Justice Department then used law abiding gun
shop owners as a scapegoat, placing the blame on them for skyrocketing
Mexican drug cartel crime.

on Fox News’ Special Report with Bret Baier:
“He (Osama bin Laden) was disposed of and I would use that word,” he
said. “It was a brilliant conclusion to bury him at sea so-called. As
we speak, when you think about this, he’s being eaten by the fishes in
the Arabian Sea, which is what he deserves.”
