Troop 31293 Keeps Girl Scout Promise

GREENVILLE – The Girl Scout Promise states, “On my honor, I will try: to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law.”

Girl Scout Troop #31293 recites this promise at their meeting twice a month, as well as the Pledge of Allegiance and the Girl Scout Law.

“Our troop has been together for three years,” shared troop leader, Deanna York. “The girls know the promise by heart and are always coming up with ways to live it out.”

This year, the girls decided to help others by making a donation of five cases of delicious Girl Scout cookies to FISH Choice Pantry located at 501 Gray Avenue in Greenville.

“Thank you for your generosity,” stated Kristy Cuttarelli, director of the FISH Choice Pantry. “We are seeing an increase in the families needing our help and your contribution will keep food on our shelves.”

Donations for the pantry are accepted year-round, and they may be dropped off Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. For more information, please contact Cutarelli at 937-916-6033.
