Kiwanis delivers books to school libraries

Greenville Kiwanians Joe Payne, President, and Bob Robinson, Board Member, delivered 400 books to Head Start, Woodland Heights, East and South Schools recently.

Gail Myers, librarian for South Middle School is shown here taking delivery from Payne. “This is a fantastic program,” she said, thanking Kiwanis for the school and the students. The books were collected March 28-April 1 and separated according to age groups on Kiwanis One Day, April 2.

Also participating in the event were Kiwanians Lynne Gump, Holly Hill, Mary Lane, Dale Musser, Al Greiner, Jim Schaar and several other volunteers.
