Fifty-five contestants met at the Great Darke County Fair Gazebo to
compete in the 2011 Little Miss & Mister Darke County Fair King and
Queen Contest sponsored by The Flower Patch. This year’s 2011 King and
Queen are Owen Marker and Jaydn Norris.
The theme for this year’s event was Under the Stars!
Ken Kurz, Director of Development & Public Relations at State of
the Heart Hospice, emceed the event. Kim Bowers, Eric Fee, and Stacie
Ward judged while the youngsters answered questions posed by the emcee,
modeled their formal attire, and connected with the audience.
Prior to the competition, photographer Crystal LeeAnn selected Madison
Paige McCool, daughter of Sierra and Justin McCool as the Most
Photogenic contestant.
