Cancer Association Thanks Keller Feeds and Needs

Keller Animal Feeds & Needs hosted a Think “PINK” Horse Trail Ride in October at Sycamore State Park.  Over 100 people participated with their horses.  The trail ride and lunch was free to the participants. A donation box was provided and t-shirts and hats were sold.  The proceeds were donated to Cancer Association of Darke County.  During the month of October they also carried Land O Lakes Purina pink bags for certain feeds.  It was their goal to bring awareness and raise money so that together they can help those fighting cancer.  They are looking forward to hosting another Think “Pink” Trail ride again next year and hope to do this annually.  Keller Feeds and Needs is located at 645 Wagner Ave., Greenville and also at 11597 Upper Lewisburg Salem Rd., Brookville, Ohio.    They also invite the public to visit their website at www.kellerfeeds.com and visit and “Like” them on Facebook as well.

The Cancer Association of Darke County truly appreciates this and all donations to provide support for people in Darke County that have been diagnosed with cancer. The association reimburses their patients for expenses including: mileage, medication, medical supplies, and nutritional supplementation. Our organization also offers a monthly support group, a volunteer driver program, free wigs and head coverings for cancer patients, educational materials for the prevention and early detection of all cancers, information booths at various Darke County events, and speakers for groups interested in learning more about our organization. The Cancer Association also makes one yearly donation to an accredited research organization that works with Darke County residents. The Cancer Association is an independent non-profit organization that exists because of donations from people just like you! The Cancer Association of Darke County is not affiliated with the American Cancer Society and does not receive donations or financial assistance from their organization. For more information about the Cancer Association of Darke County, please call the office at 937-548-9960.
