over the Holidays
The Christmas and New Year’s holiday celebrations are a wonderous time
for our children, and for our own giving and thanks.
We get to reflect over the positive experiences of 2011 and plan how to
make 2012 even better.
With God’s Help, we are in charge of our own destinies. This is a
blessing unique in today’s world, and one for which we should give
thanks.
It is also a responsibility that we owe those who will come after us.
As your families and friends come together in celebration of our
Savior’s Birth over the next several days, so will those families who
have faithfully provided information to County News Online readers; and
those who have served us in the production of our new online news and
information service.
We will be taking an abbreviated holiday as well to be with our own
families and friends.
Following our Christmas Day publication, we will only be posting
breaking news, local sports game stories and other time sensitive
materials. Full publication will resume shortly after the New Year.
Be sure to check CNO regularly as your time permits for activities and
events throughout the holiday season.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us with your
readership and sponsorship of our scholarship program for Darke County
youth. You are special people who have earned our heartfelt gratitude.
