Calendars needed for Nursing & Retirement Homes

The Ombudsman Office...
Calendars needed for Nursing & Retirement Homes
December  2, 2011

The Greenville Public Library has agreed to be a drop off point for calendars to be distributed to nursing homes and retirement homes, according to Gail Snyder, a volunteer for Ombudsman Office and two Greenville Nursing Homes.

Snyder said that some residents do not have access to the places that send or give them calendars and the help of the community has been requested by the Ombudsman Office.

She thanks Library Director John Vehre for his help and added that she will be periodically picking up the donated calendars at the Library. Pictured are Snyder (right) and two volunteers at one of the organization’s training programs.
