Shelter Pets of the Week
The Darke County Animal Shelter presents its pets of the week:
Dakota is a 4-year-old Spitz mix. She is all white with long hair. She
is a sweet girl and only weighs around 35 pounds. She loves people and
is very playful. She is looking for that good home.
Lucky is a 9-year-old terrier mix. He is tan and white with short hair.
He likes people more than other male dogs. He should go to someone
without other dogs. He would make a nice companion for an older person.
He is looking for that good home.
Jasmine is a 1-year-old red Heeler mix. She is reddish brown with white
feet. She also has short hair. She is a friendly girl and loves
attention. She would make a nice companion and is looking for that good
home. We also have 2 lab puppies, a Golden Retriever, a boxer, a little
terrier a spitz and numerous other dogs. We also have cats and kittens
for adoption.

The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
There are a few 2011 Pets calendars left. The pictures are wonderful
and the proceeds help the animals at the shelter. Come to the shelter
and pick up your new calendar while supplies last.
