Darke County Animal Shelter pets of the week
Mandy is a 5 year old Shepherd mix. She is black and tan with medium
length hair. She is current on her shots and very friendly. She is one
of the dogs we received from the Piqua shelter. She is a wonderful dog
and only wants a chance to become part of someone’s family. She is
looking for a good home.
Rusty is a 5 year old yellow Lab. She is blond with short hair. She is
current on her shots, has been spayed and is very friendly. She is one
of the dogs we received from the Piqua shelter.
She is a sweet dog and only wants a chance to become part of someone’s
family. She is looking for a good home.
Hans is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix. He is tan with short hair. He
friendly little guy and is housebroken. He is good with kids and is
looking for a family to have fun with. He is looking for a good home.
We also have a little Chihuahua mix; a black and a chocolate lab, a
Rottweiler, a Pointer mix and numerous other dogs. We also have cats
and kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
The friends of the shelter will be having their annual "Pictures With
Easter Bunny" on Saturday April 2nd at Wal-Mart. Further details will
