Students from Mrs. Delk’s Kindergarten class, and the window display at Minuteman Press

Local Children help advertise Children’s Theatre Program

Darke County Center for the Arts...

November  11, 2011

Mrs. Delk’s Kindergarten class at Woodland Primary school created a wonderful moon to be used in Darke County Center for the Arts’ window display at Minuteman Press in downtown Greenville.  The moon is part of DCCA’s advertisement for its upcoming Family Theatre Series production of Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny.

The program will take place at St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 pm.  Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, a professional touring theatre company, uses whimsical puppetry and creative sets and lighting to bring to life two popular stories for children.  Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at Readmore’s Hallmark in downtown Greenville, Worch Memorial Public Library in Versailles, or by contacting DCCA at 937-547-0908 or dcca@centerforarts.net .

Darke County Center for the Arts thanks Mrs. Delk’s class for the moon, Matt and Andrea Jordan for the window display, Readmore’s Hallmark for the books, and Minuteman Press for the use of their front window.
