Darke County Center for the Arts...
Second National sponsors Michael Kaeshammer, other DCCA programs

Second National Bank (SNB) has donated funds to Darke County Center for the Arts (DCCA) as an Impressario sponsor of the upcoming performance by Michael Kaeshammer.  The rising star from Canada, having been likened to Harry Connick Jr, and Michael Bublé, will perform at St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville on Saturday, November 12, 2011.  Tickets for the 8:00 P.M. performance are $20 and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling DCCA at 937-547-0908 or e-mail dcca@centerforarts.net . 

SNB is also a sponsor of DCCA’s Family Theater Series, a set of three programs specifically designed to reach out to youngsters and their parents.  The 2011-2012 season of shows, presented at Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville, will include Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny on November 12, House at Pooh Corner on March 25, 2012, and Wizard of Oz on May 6, 2012.  All programs are at 2:00 pm on Sunday afternoons; tickets are only $5 and may be purchased in advance at Readmore’s Hallmark in downtown Greenville, Worch Memorial Public Library in Versailles, or by calling 937-547-0908.  Tickets will also be available at the door.  

Additionally, the DCCAdent Evening, held at the Greenville Golf Course on October 7, was supported by a donation from Second National Bank, helping offset the cost of the entertainment for the evening.  

DCCA’s Executive Director, Julie Strait, stated, “Second National Bank’s sponsorship provides a variety of opportunities for children and adults alike to learn and grow through participating in the arts. “  She continued, “DCCA appreciates SNB’s committment to the community through supporting events that help make Darke County a great place to live.”
