The UNSPEAKABLE Mime
2011 Great Darke County Fair…

How many of you remember this guy?
The first set of photos (seen at the end of this photo set) were taken
in 2007 at the 151st Great Darke County Fair. The featured entertainers were Terri
Clark, Jason Gracin… and the Unspeakable Mime.
He was almost as big a hit with the crowd as were the entertainers who
performed later on the big stage.
Since then he has likely appeared every year around the fairgrounds and
at the annual concerts. This year he was captured in several different
places.
Elaine Bailey caught him wandering around the Coliseum. It is believed
he was dressed for a business meeting. No one knows if he got
permission, but he took a “shower” anyway. Then, once “clean,” he
greeted a couple of young fair goers.
Outside he mimicked another fair goer… or he was mimicked. Who knows?
These photos were captured by Elaine Bailey.
Bob Robinson caught him on his way to visit the Planet Zero… or just
returning from it. He didn’t say.
He had a “little” friend with him. Possibly a passenger picked up on
Zero? Mime and Clown took some time out from their travels to show
children how to give a “thumbs up.”
There are many questions left unanswered about the adventures of the
Unspeakable Mime. Does he tour county fairs around the country? Or is
he a Darke County native?
