A Little of This, a Little of That

One of the most visited places at the Darke County Fairgrounds is none other than the Coliseum. Despite the heat and crowds of people making it rather miserable, there was not a shortage of activity in that building this year.

Raffles and drawings took place during the entire nine days. Whether it was guessing the weight of the Master Chef pig, signing up for a different item for the children every day, or even to enter a drawing for an Ipod, there were many available to choose from.

There were also a miscellaneous number of objects to be bought. Figurines of mythical creatures, cornhole bags, jewelry items, and food additives were just a few.

There were food vendors scattered throughout the Coliseum sparingly, one of the most popular being the fudge stand. A cooking show was also hosted at one of the booths.

If you were looking for a pasttime, a book store and photography booth were also set up.

There was a wide variety of objects to be fawned over at the 155th Darke County Fair, and, with no doubt, the haul will only get better as years go on.
