Annie Oakley Festival
It was a Happy Day
By Dylan Hoover

Seeing everyone so happy that day was great... Editor: Dylan covered many summer events for County News Online last year and was one of the students who contributed to Greenville High School’s Digital Waves web site that CNO posted. Once again, he has stepped up to help out. I asked for his thoughts after shooting the photos, and he agreed.

Here are his thoughts on a full day... The 5K Run and the Annie Oakley Parade:

“Just watching all of these people show up to run for breast cancer awarness was amazing to see, especially how competitve they got with each other. Towards the finish line was the best because whether they were walking or running, their faces were filled with joy that they knew they had finished the race.

“The parade was great... seeing everyone pointing at the cars to the little kids getting all kinds of candy. Seeing everyone so happy that day was great, and even after the parade, Greenville residents looked happy. They’d had a good time.

“On top of it all, the weather couldn’t have been better.”
