Beagle and
Lehner Honor Trotwood-Madison Football Champs
Pigskin squad presented with resolution on Senate floor
COLUMBUS – State Senators Bill Beagle (R – Tipp City) and Peggy Lehner
(R – Kettering) today hosted the Trotwood-Madison High School Football
Team at the Ohio Statehouse. The Republican lawmakers honored the
team with a Senate Resolution before the full legislative chamber.
The Rams captured the Division II State Football Championship with a
victory over Avon High School. The win capped off a perfect 15-0
season.
Trotwood-Madison is led by Coach Maurice Douglass.
Senator Bill Beagle serves the people of Ohio’s 5th Senate District,
which includes Miami County and portions of Montgomery and Darke
Counties. Senator Lehner represents Ohio’s 6th Senate District which
includes a portion of Montgomery County. She currently serves as
Chairwoman for the Senate Education Committee.
