The Workshop Learning Center...
Growing Minds, Offerings & Staff

The Workshop Learning Center, located at 213 Walnut Street in Greenville, announces two new programs to continue to help the students of Darke County achieve academic success. The Workshop Learning Center currently offers private academic tutoring, private music lessons, and test prep classes. They will begin offering an after-school study skills program for students who need help organizing, completing and studying for schoolwork. The study skills program is designed to help students learn essential time-management and self-discipline skills so they can achieve their academic goals.

The Workshop Learning Center is also offering an Alternative Education program. This unique program combines the flexibility of an online school with the structure and support of a personal tutor. Students who attend will have the opportunity to complete their online classes in a small group environment three days a week, allowing them to work independently and still have the instant feedback on questions and assignments that a live tutor can provide. Space is extremely limited for this one-of-a-kind program. Call 937-459-5937 now to discuss the possibilities.

“We are excited to add these programs to our growing list of educational services,” says director, Michelle Drees. “It is amazing to see the academic achievements of our students. Each new student brings a new opportunity for success.” For more information call 937-459-5937 or visit the website www.theworkshoplc.com.

With the continued growth of current and new offerings, The Workshop Learning Center is looking for student-oriented, part-time tutors. Applicants MUST have previous experience working with school-aged children. State certification and/or math specialty are preferred. Background check is required. Availability of at least two evenings a week is a must. We are also looking for guitar, piano, voice and band instrument instructors as well (one night a week). Qualified applicants ONLY can email resumes to employment@theworkshoplc.com or drop it off on Saturday, February 11th or 18th between 9 - 11am. Please no phone calls.
