IMTV Premiere Work

Lots Happening at GHS... check out IMTV

Greenville High School IMTV
By Bob Robinson

It’s been kind of busy here at CNO... hadn’t checked out IMTV’s web site - Digital Waves - for a while (tab, upper right corner). I did Wednesday morning.

Wow!! They have been busy and they have some terrific stuff online.

In addition to exam schedules and a link to the District web site they have new posts in a variety of areas, from daily announcements to upcoming events. These regular updates have been available for a while.

What’s new?

IMTV staff has posted a link to the Career Tech Center and set up a new link for High Five Blogspot. The Career Tech Center (tab at the top) provides extensive information about all the programs available for interested students. The Blogspot (tab at the top) - High Five for Wave Pride - keeps parents, the community and students updated on the great things happening in Greenville Schools... athletics, fine arts, academic, building, student and staff.

There’s a new series of posts for Interactive Media. Current offersings include videos of the 2011 GHS Homecoming, interviews with Homecoming Candidates, the Light Foundation Turkey Shoot, a promo on “Why Interactive Media,” and a Light Saber Duel!

Some of the Photoshop techniques these students have learned are at the same level I teach in college. The Light Saber Duel? Who knows? Way beyond my meager digital skills!

Two more postings include a promotion of the Key Club’s Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on January 28 ($7 each - I have tickets if anyone is interested... send me an email at editor@countynewsonline.org and I’ll get them to you) and photos from a recent Spanish Field Trip to El Meson.

There’s a lot more I could tell you but I’d rather you check it out for yourself... Click here
