Eldora Fans enjoyed Taste of Darke County

GREENVILLE (June 8, 2012) – Race fans are a hungry bunch and Darke County restaurants, winery and attractions satisfied their hunger and thirst at the 5th Annual Race 2 Taste, hosted by Darke County Visitors Bureau.

Fans enjoyed living cooking demonstrations by Chef Michael Delligatta with Michael Anthony’s at the Inn, as well as live product demonstrations from KitchenAid Experience Center. The delicious fare from The Bistro Off Broadway and one-of-a-kind burritos from Danny’s Place were topped only by the award-winning wines from The Winery at Versailles.

“My friends and I look forward to this event about as much as the race,” shared Robert from New York.  Many comments like this were heard throughout the day as volunteers of the Darke County Visitors Bureau mingled with those fans enjoying the event.

“With the tens of thousands of people from all over the United States and beyond visiting Eldora Speedway for The Prelude to the Dream in June, we are fortunate that Race 2 Taste has become something they look forward to experiencing prior to the race,” stated Deanna York, event organizer and executive director of the Darke County Visitors Bureau.
