Safety at the Darke County Fair 

In preparation for the GREAT DARKE COUNTY FAIR several public service entities have been meeting for the past several months to promote SAFETY for all who will be attending the fair this year. 

The Darke County Fair Board, Darke County Commissioners, Darke County Homeland Security & Emergency Management Agency, Greenville Township Rescue, Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, Greenville Township Fire Department, Greenville Street Department, Darke County Highway Department and the Darke County Sheriff's Office have all joined forces to improve the safety for all those that attend The Great Darke County Fair. 

We would like to invite you to a joint news conference that will be held at the Fair Board Office located under the Grand Stand of the fairgrounds on August 15th, 2013 at 10:30 AM to give you more details of what has been done and what will be done to make safety a number 1 priority for this year's fair. 

Please help us inform the public that SAFETY is a concern that we all need to take seriously.
