Darke County Animals Shelter
Pets of the week 

We have April at the Darke County Animal Shelter. She is an 8-year-old Pomeranian mix. She is brown and white with long hair. She is a sweet little girl and loves to be held. She was found in the Arcanum area. This little sweetheart is waiting to be adopted. She will make a wonderful companion. 

We have Lola at the Darke County Animal Shelter. She is an 11-month old Boxer/shepherd mix. She is mostly white with some brown. She has short hair. She is a playful girl and loves to be around people. She will make a great companion and friend. She is looking for a good home and family to belong to. 

We also have a Husky mix, a Min-pin, a Pomeranian, some lab mixes, a Mastiff, mix and numerous other dogs. We also have cats and kittens for adoption. 

The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645. 

With the fair right around the corner, be sure your dog is wearing its license. It makes it much easier to find his or her home back when they become lost.
