Gateway Youth Program
“Spring into Winter Connections” Program offered for local Youth

With winter weather hitting us hard in the past few weeks – do your kids need something to keep them busy?  The Gateway Youth Program is offering an exciting sixteen week program for youth in Darke County.

This will be a fantastic program that runs from January 29 to May 18; every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  This is a great opportunity for youth aged 7 to 17 to meet new people, stay active, discover and experience new interests, and have a fun at the same time.

The program will offer lots of group activities, movie nights, interesting guest speakers, walking field trips and involvement at the Greenville YMCA.  We have an onsite activity center where everyone can relax and build friendships; they can also do homework or crafts, play video games, or just hang out in a supervised setting.  This is a program will help ensure that every child and teen has a chance to find fun, safe and enriching activities to do during the long winter season.

The cost is very family friendly at only a small one-time payment of $25.00, with all current Gateway youth participants covered under their intake fee.

So… how do you sign up?  Registration paperwork can be picked up at Council on Rural Services in Greenville, 116 East Third Street between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Spots are limited, but your spot will be reserved upon completion of paper work and payment received.

The deadline for program registration is Wednesday, January 23rd.  If you have any questions or want to get signed up, please contact Kathy Kenworthy at 937-548-8002.

You won’t want to miss out on this great “Spring into Winter Connections” and the awesome opportunities and activities! Spread the word, sign up with your friends, and get ready for a winter you’ll never forget!
