The Gathering At Garst - A fitting Tribute

The 2013 Gathering at Garst Committee would like to thank Pam Carpenter-Summers and the late Dan Summers for once again sponsoring the Beatles tribute band, The Cavern Beat. Pam is a Greenville native, now living in San Diego. Pam began searching for a way to honor her husband when he lost his battle with cancer early in 2012. Although Dan was not a Darke County native, he had a special place in his heart for Greenville and the people that live here due to their spirited nature and deep historical roots.

When the opportunity arose to contribute to the 2012 and 2013 Gathering at Garst, Pam sponsored the entertainment headliners both years. She has given $5000 in memory of her husband, Dan Summers. We are so grateful for Pam’s continued support and look forward to a great evening of music on July 27, 7:30-9:30 p.m. as the community enjoys this concert in Dan’s memory.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the Gathering at Garst… Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.
