Donors can win computers in Darke Co. Days
Blood Drives
Special thanks to donors during season of giving
DARKE COUNTY, Ohio - Santa will hitch his reindeer to the Community
Blood Center (CBC) Bloodmobile this holiday season to deliver the two
grand prizes in the Darke County Days Blood Drives. Everyone who
registers to donate blood at any Darke County blood drive from Nov. 1
through Dec. 31 will have a chance to win one of two HP Laptop Computer
Bundles.
CBC Darke County Account Representative Dana Puterbaugh says the grand
prize computer bundles are an extra encouragement for people to donate
during a traditionally busy time of year. The Thanksgiving
through New Year’s period is always a challenging time for the blood
supply due to school vacations, holiday travel, family activities and
the beginning of the cold and flu season.
Anyone who registers to donate at any November or December Darke County
blood drive will be automatically entered in the drawings for the HP
Laptop Computer Bundles. One winner will be drawn for the month
of November and another for the month of December.
Everyone who registers to donate will receive a free gift (the “Buckeye
Strong – Blood Donor” t-shirt through Dec. 14 or the new donor gift
beginning Dec. 16) but only those who register to donate in Darke
County will also be entered in the drawings for the computers.
Only community blood drives are listed. All High School and
Company blood drives are also included in Darke County Days.
