MedTech students support one of their own
From Shawna Wise

Teacher Emily Powers at Greenville High School Career Tech Building planned and pulled off the most supportive and heartfelt support for one of her students! Aaron's classmates really surprised him!

Wear Blue, Think Blue Fridays (for the month of November) was held for Diabetes Awareness month. Thirty students participated in making this a special project.

According to teacher Emily Powers, Aaron is considered a non-traditional student in a medical based Career Tech Program (making him unique, because across the state, they are mostly comprised of girls) and he excels in the classroom in many ways.  He is a leader and is always willing to put forth ideas to improve our program and becoming involved.  I think his plan as of now, is to become a physician's assistant, and I think he would make a great PA!!!! Teamwork is a critical part of the healthcare industry, so it was important to have our entire MedTech Program let Aaron know that we can come together to support each other in whatever they are dealing with.

“I am so proud to be their teacher!!”
