Junior Fair Bake-A-Rama results
By Elaine Bailey

Various 4-H Clubs were represented in the Intermediate Division of the Junior Fair Bake-A-Rama at the 2014 Great Darke County Fair.

Speaking on behalf of both judges, Patricia Scott congratulated the participants and complimented them on their skills in preparing the recipe.  She noted that there was nothing lacking in their ability, which created a challenge in ranking the young cooks.

After repeatedly, sampling each contestant’s whole-wheat quick bread and careful deliberation, the following awards sponsored by Kitchenaid were presented:

First Place ($50 gift certificate):  Anna Manges
Second Place ($25 gift certificate):  Hannah Gulley
Third Place ($10 gift certificate):  Becky O’Connor

Participants included Alex Brewer, Busy Beavers; Becky O’Connor, Junior Nifty Neave; Anna Manges, Blue Angels; Katelyn Warner, Ansonia 4-H Club; Anna Barlage, Patterson Patchers; McKayla Hess, Busy Beavers; Hannah Gulley, Genesis Fun Bunch; Georgia Wetzel, This-N-That.

Food Revue Results:

Outstanding of the Day:  Victoria Wuebker
