Fair visitors
come from all parts of the country
GREENVILLE – “We’ve had people here from Florida, Alabama, New England
and all parts of Ohio,” said Deanna York, director of the Darke County
Visitors Bureau. This was Monday at their fair booth in the coliseum,
with five more days to go.
“People are amazed we would promote stand mixers at travel shows,” she
added. “Then we tell them it’s a KitchenAid mixer and it’s only built
here in Greenville, Ohio.”
Visitors Bureau intern Baleigh Reed said there were two ladies who
carpooled from Alabama and Florida to come to the Darke County Fair.
“They do it every year,” she said. Reed was demonstrating a KitchenAid
blender on Friday, the first day of the fair...
