Students check out colleges at Edison spring fair

GREENVILLE – Thirty students from Darke County high schools braved inclement weather to talk with college recruiters about the costs and offerings of 15 colleges and universities at Edison Community College Darke County Campus Spring College Fair.

According to Janice Michael, Dean of the Darke County campus, it was a good turnout. “Students and family members had an opportunity to see and compare what was available at colleges they are considering.” The recruiters were happy with the turnout, she said, because they had more time to talk with people individually and answer questions.

Kara Newman, recruiter for Indiana University East, and Kylie Wright, recruiter for Ball State University, noted Darke County students can attend the Indiana schools on in-state tuitions...
