Pets of the week
We have Payton at the Darke County Animal Shelter. She is a 3 year old
Boxer. She is tan and white with short hair. She is a sweet girl who
loves to be around people. She knows some commands and is housebroken.
She will make a wonderful companion and friend. She is current on her
shots and is looking for a good home.
We have Mack at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is a 2 year old
Walker Coon Dog. He is tri-color with short hair. He is a sweet little
guy and very handsome. He will make a great companion and walking
buddy. He is current on his shots and is looking for a good home.
We have Gismoe at the Darke County Animal Shelter. He is a 1 year old
Shepherd hound mix. He is mostly black and brown with some white on his
chest. He has short hair. He is a sweet little guy and full of energy.
He loves to play and have fun. He is a medium size dog and will make a
great companion. He is current on his shots and is looking for a good
home.
We also have a couple of Shepherd mixes, a couple lab mixes, a Golden
Retriever, and numerous other dogs. We also have cats
and kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
“Get your Pets picture with Santa Claus” will by Saturday November 22nd
2014 at the Wal-Mart Garden Center in Greenville. The times will be
from 10am to 2pm. This is a fund raiser for the “Darke County Friends
of the shelter”. Your whole family is invited to come to this event.
Kids and animals are welcome, but be sure to come through the Garden
Center entrance. Mark your calendar for this fun event.
