CNO’s Darke County scrapbook
Watch DOGS at Woodland
Bob Robinson
October 4, 2014

Recently Watch DOGS (Dads of Great Students) held their kickoff event at Woodland Elementary. The story has been posted in CNO and Bluebag Media. These photos and those of other community events were put into our Community Events Photo Gallery. The gallery has a new sponsor… Leis Realty. Check it out and, when you get a chance, please take a moment to thank Leis for their support of CNO and the Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund.

Several stories have been posted from the Great Darke County Fair, Annie Oakley Days, Garst Gathering and other events in Darke County. One thing that had not been done is a posting of “Memories” of those and other events. Everyone who attends the fair takes away memories that last until the next year… and beyond. I’ve worked with kids who have been involved in the fair, Annie Oakley Days… I run into children all the time who remember me from a parade, a community event or when I subbed in one of their classes. Recently I’ve even had kids tell me “I’m in the news.” They’ve seen my picture in The Early Bird. Adults stop me at the store or on the street and talk about some of the articles or columns I’ve written for The Early Bird/Blue Bag Media. If you’d like to read those stories, or my featured column “Grumpy Side of 60,” you’ll find them at www.bluebagmedia.com.
