Common Trees of Darke County

Trees are all around us, and yet many do not know a Maple from an Oak. Add the fact that many trees lose their leaves in the winter months and this only adds to the confusion. Join the Darke County Parks on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00pm for an informative program both in and outdoors as we learn how to ID a tree. We will then use some of the trees around the Nature Center to practice our newly learned identification skills.  This program is FREE and will take place at the Nature Center (4267 State Route 502 West).  For questions or more information, please call us at 937.548.0165.  All of our upcoming programs can be found on our website, www.darkecountyparks.org
