CNO’s Darke County Fair scrapbook
No assignments, just a’wanderin’
Bob Robinson
September 16, 2014

On Saturday I had no assignments, but when I got off duty at Gate 5 (Kiwanis), I did some wandering around, then headed home for a nap before heading back out again to meet Jordan Pridemore, my Teen Editor from 2005 to 2008. She teaches in Indiana; if I’m lucky I get to see her and her special friend, Keith, once or year. There were a few other interesting experiences, like a marshmellow-eating pig and the view ‘down’ from the grandstands.

Several stories have already been posted from the Great Darke County Fair. One thing that had not been done is a posting of “Memories” of the 2014 fair. I began doing so recently. Everyone who attends the fair takes away memories that last until the next year… and beyond. I know I had a blast. Some of these photos were featured in articles I wrote for The Early Bird/Blue Bag Media. If you’d like to read the stories, go to www.bluebagmedia.com and type in the “search” box for the Great Darke County Fair.
