CNO’s Darke County Fair scrapbook
4H kids hard at work
Bob Robinson
September 14, 2014

Sometimes the best stories have nothing to do with assignments. I didn’t have one on Sunday, but as usual I took a turn (actually a couple turns) around the fairgrounds after working my second turn at Gate 5. I saw the first of the entertainment buses come in, and met another one of my kids from our Teen Advocate days. I ended up in the new cow barn… great job and, as always, 4H kids working hard.

Several stories have already been posted from the Great Darke County Fair. One thing that had not been done is a posting of “Memories” of the 2014 fair. I began doing so recently. Everyone who attends the fair takes away memories that last until the next year… and beyond. I know I had a blast. Some of these photos were featured in articles I wrote for The Early Bird/Blue Bag Media. If you’d like to read the stories, go to www.bluebagmedia.com and type in the “search” box for the Great Darke County Fair.
