Treasure trove of
memories from 2011-2012
While most of us are caught up in our daily routines or plans for the
future, sometimes it’s nice to take a journey having little or nothing
to do with either mindset.
For some it might be a trip to the seashore; for others it might be
spending some time with a good friend or reading that book you’ve been
planning to get to for months… maybe even years.
Or for some a little more advanced in age it might be a trip back in
time. In this case, a trip in time through photographs. County News
Online is slowly (but surely) doing exactly that. Early this year, CNO
posted Favorite Photos of 2014. They are available both as pictures and
a 2-part slide show.
Then CNO gave you the best of 2012-2013… also available as photos and a
slide show.
So what about 2011, the year CNO began publication? That was more
difficult as photo folders were not maintained until nearly a year
later. So community photo articles were reviewed, month by month in CNO
archives… they revealed a treasure trove of more than 500 great photos
from 2011 and 2012.
