Mother’s Recipe Passes the Test

“It’s my mother’s recipe… a favorite with the family. The drizzled icing is a recipe that my granddaughter used on her 4-H cookies last year.”

The recipe also proved to be the favorite for the judges of the Advisors’ Bake-a-Rama at the 2015 Darke County Fair.

Sunny Hickey from Miamisburg and Sandy Schwartz from New Bremen judged the three desserts. Amy Hanes was awarded first place followed by Jessie Smith and Anita Hart.
