Pets of the week
GREENVILLE - The Darke County Animal Shelter has many pets available
for adoption, including several breeds of dogs, as well as cats and
kittens. The Shelter chooses pets to feature each week, this week
they've selected:
Jena is a 4 month old lab mix. She is mostly black with a little white.
She has short hair. She is a playful little girl and loves to have fun.
She is current on her shots and friendly. She will grow to around 50
pounds. She will make a super walking buddy and friend. She is ready
for adoption.
CoCo is a 3 year old Spaniel/Lab mix. She is chocolate brown with
medium length hair. She is a very energetic girl and loves to play
ball. She is a sweetheart and loves people. She is current on her shots
and friendly. She will make a friend and companion. She is ready for
adoption.
Samual is a 1 year old Aussie/Border collie mix. He is black and white
with long hair. He is a very playful and loving guy. He is current on
her shots and friendly. He will make a wonderful friend and super
companion. He is looking for a good home ready for adoption.
They also have a boxer mix, a Blue tick, an Irish wolfhound mix, a
couple of terriers, an Aussie mix and numerous other dogs as well as
cats and kittens for adoption.
The Shelter hours are 8am till 4:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00 till noon
on Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Road in
Greenville, and the phone number is 547-1645.
It’s time to get your pet pictures turned in for our 2016 Pet calendar.
Drop them off at the shelter to get them turned in.

DOGS OVER 3 MONTHS OF AGE MUST HAVE A LICENSE. For more information you
