DCCA Artists Series Sponsors Jim & Enid Goubeaux with Keith Rawlins, Artistic Director and

Jim & Enid Goubeaux Sponsor DCCA Artists Series performances
   
Darke County Center for the Arts recognizes Jim & Enid Goubeaux for their contributions to the DCCA 2015-2016 season.  The Goubeaux’s are Angel members of DCCA, and are sponsors of two Artists Series performances including DCCA Artists Series opener and “Belle of The Blues”, Lisa Biales, performing October 10th and The Toledo Symphony Orchesta’s Mucis of Rodgers & Hammerstein on May14, 2016.  “On behalf of Darke County Center for the Arts, I want to express our appreciation of Jim and Enid Goubeaux and their patronage to the arts in Darke County.  The Goubeaux’s have been long time supporters of DCCA, and it’s mission of providing cultural enrichment and the preservation of St. Clair Memorial Hall as an important cultural center for the community,” stated Andrea Jordan, DCCA Executive Director. 

Darke County is fortunate to have a vibrant arts presence, thanks largely to individual supporters, including Jim & Enid Goubeaux , who help make our community a great place to live.  “"We are pleased to be sponsors of the first
performance to be held in our newly renovated hall,"shared Jim Goubeaux.

Versatile singer Lisa Biales will open Darke County Center for the Arts' 2015-2016 Artists Series season at Greenville's newly renovated Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 10, performing a mix of songs ranging from blues to folk to American standards; the show starts at 8 p.m. “We wanted our first presentation in the beautifully restored Memorial Hall to be truly special; Lisa's concert will definitely fit that description,” said Keith Rawlins, Artistic Director for DCCA. “Lisa absolutely loves to sing, and she has a great voice that can sing anything and everything,” Rawlins stated. Tickets for Lisa Biales’ performance are $20.

Additionally, the Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans. DCCA also receives operating support from the Harry D. and Esther Stephens Memorial as well as funding from the Ketrow Foundation and Lydia E. Schaurer Memorial Trust Fund.

Tickets for the Artists Series performances can be purchased by contacting DCCA at 937-547-0908 or purchased at DCCA's office located within Greenville Public Library, as well as online at www.CenterForArts.net. Tickets will also be available at the door prior to the performance.
