New T-V royalty picked for 2015-16

NEW MADISON – Four young people were crowned at the 82nd Annual Tri-Village Community and School Fair Oct. 2. Judges tapped Braxton Bales and Ava Camacho as the Little Mr. & Miss Patriot for 2015-16; while TVHS students voted seniors Knox Morris and Jenna Fisherback as the new School Fair King & Queen.

During the interview Braxton, the son of Dustin and Lauren Bales, told Emcee Kami Hollinger his favorite animal was a big ‘gator and his favorite thing to do was ride his big truck into the woods and get it stuck. Ava, daughter of Matt and Amber Camacho, said her favorite animal was the zebra; she performed the Pledge of Allegiance for the audience and finished the interview with a rousing ‘Go Patriots’.

Two additional candidates for the Fair Queen honor were Aubrey Light, daughter of David and Abby Light, and Kinnley Lewis, daughter of Jarred and Amy Lewis. Hollinger was kept on her toes by the young folks who, for the most part, seemed to have minds of their own...
