VHCC takes part in
Senior Day at Shelby County Fair
Versailles Health Care Center recently participated in Senior Day at
the Shelby County Fair with over 400 senior citizens in
attendance. Entertainment for the day was provided by Senior
Center Singers and veterans in attendance were honored. Also
honored were the oldest male, oldest female, and couple married the
longest.
The theme for this year’s VHCC table was “Caregiver Support” and
featured information on VHCC’s Summer Respite Program which allows
caregivers some much deserved time off while all the needs of their
loved one are met while residing temporarily at Versailles Health Care
Center. This program may be utilized for any time frame such as
over a weekend, week, or a month. The reduced room rate for this
special is in effect through the end of August.
VHCC also donated a door prize of a $25.00 Walmart gift card.

Versailles Health Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation
center that offers short-term rehab services, outpatient therapy, and
long-term care. Versailles Health Care Center sent home 197
patients who utilized its short-term rehab services in 2015 and 109 so
