THANK YOU - We Met Our Goal!

FREE Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides in downtown Greenville this holiday season!
On September 7th, Main Street Greenville started a crowdfunding campaign to raise money to bring free horse-drawn carriage rides to downtown Greenville over the holiday season. We are happy to share that we have met our goal of $1,500 this morning!

Thank you to everyone who donated to this fundraising campaign:

EUM Church, The Merchant House, Greenville National Bank, Anonymous, Jason & Tonia Penny, Sean & Kristi Strawser, Sara Grieshop, Dan & Jeni Berger, Mike & Kim Bowers, Lauren Warner, Mark & Cindy Libert, Dave & Beth Fiely, Daniel & Cassidy Helman, Terry & Carol Haworth, Bob & Kathy Brandon, Ty & Debra Winterrowd, Rick & Betty Birt, Anonymous, Pam Downey, Erica Sprenkel, Rob & Amber Garrett, Linda Zerkle, Matt & Jen Staugler, Peggy & Steve Schultz, and Eric & Kim Blumenstock.

Horse-drawn carriage rides through the decorated downtown district are a beautiful way to get into the holiday spirit. "If you think driving your car through downtown Greenville is beautiful, imagine a horse-drawn carriage ride. It gives people the opportunity to view downtown in a different way," said Amber Garrett, Executive Director for Main Street Greenville. "It is a unique attraction for everyone to enjoy. Whenever our organization offers something downtown, the goal is always to increase foot traffic, which will hopefully generate additional sales for our downtown businesses."

Money donated to this fundraising campaign will allow us to book free horse carriage rides on the following dates / times:

Saturday, December 3rd from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
Saturday, December 10th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
Saturday, December 17th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm

In addition, Main Street Greenville will also offer free horse carriage rides during these downtown events:

Saturday, November 26th - Small Business Saturday, Sponsored by Second National Bank
Friday, December 2nd - First Friday: A Christmas Night, Sponsored by Sitebound Supplies, Inc.
