VHCC Back to School a huge success

Versailles Health Care Center would like to thank the public for attending its four-part Long-Term Care Educational Series, featuring speakers on financial considerations for seniors and vets, decisions on downsizing or transitioning to a condo, assisted living, or nursing facility, Elder Law planning, and recent changes in Ohio Medicaid.  BACK TO SCHOOL FOR SENIORS and their caregiver classes were held in September and October at Versailles Health Care Center. 

The first class took place on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.  Mr. Steve Temple with Ohio Financial Services presented on Financial Considerations for Seniors and Vets.  Congratulations to Ms. Deborah Taylor of Arcanum!  She was the winner of the door prize giveaway, a $50 gift card to The Inn at Versailles. 

The second class was on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.  Ms. Amy Zumberger with Ask Amy Staging spoke about the challenges of moving from a well lived-in home, filled with a lifetime of memories, to a condo, assisted living, or nursing facility such as Versailles Health Care Center.  Ms. Kathy Barhorst of Fort Loramie won the $50 gift card to The Inn at Versailles.

The third class was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.  Attorney Tom Guillozet presented on Elder Law planning and recent Medicaid changes.  The winner of the $50 gift card to The Inn at Versailles was Ms. Kate Custenborder of Versailles!

The fourth and final class took place on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 and was led by Ms. Jennifer Kreiger of Covenant Care.  Versailles Health Care Center is owned and operated by Covenant Care.  Kreiger reviewed the Ohio Medicaid changes effective August 1, 2016.  Congrats to John Keller, who was the winner of the $50 gift card to The Inn at Versailles.

Attendees of the entire series were entered to win a $200 Kroger gift card.  Congratulations to Mr. Arthur Dapore of Russia for winning the Kroger card!
