Versailles Sales Director Goubeaux earns Mary Kay Pink Cadillac

DALLAS - Mary Kay Independent Sales Director Monica Goubeaux of Versailles, Ohio has earned the use of the exclusive Mary Kay pink Cadillac, an iconic symbol of success, the most coveted incentive awarded by Mary Kay.

Goubeaux picked up her new pearlized pink Cadillac XT5 crossover, her sixth Mary Kay career car, at Dan Hemm Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram in Sidney, Ohio on Aug. 13. Mary Kay independent sales force members earn the use of a pink Cadillac by meeting and exceeding goals set within their Mary Kay businesses.

“Cars earned by the independent sales force through this exciting program serve as a symbol of their hard-work and success in their Mary Kay businesses, and the pink Cadillac is the ultimate, most recognizable symbol of achievement,” said Darrell Overcash, president of Mary Kay Inc. U.S. “For 50 years, Mary Kay has continued to provide a rewarding opportunity selling irresistible products, changing the lives of women around the world.”

Goubeaux began her Mary Kay business as an Independent Beauty Consultant in 2003 and as a direct result of her accomplishments, became an Independent Sales Director in 2009.  As an Independent Sales Director, she chooses to provide education, leadership and motivation to other Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants and offers her customers high-quality Mary Kay® products.

“This is a goal I’ve been working toward for several years, and it feels amazing to finally accomplish this dream!,” said Goubeaux. “I feel as if this accomplishment was one that broke a belief barrier for not only myself, but other women. It gives other women the assurance that they can do whatever they put their minds to, as well, which is a major part of why I became an Independent Sales Director. It truly has been a life-changing experience, and one that I have not regretted for a single second of my 13 years in Mary Kay.”

Along with earning her sixth career car, Goubeaux and team member Lacie Reeser, Independent Beauty Consultant, represented Darke County, Ohio amongst more than 27,000 Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants at Mary Kay’s annual Seminar, August 2-6 in Dallas, Texas.

Mary Kay Inc.’s annual Seminar brings together Independent Beauty Consultants from across the country and around the world to celebrate their business achievements and provide education, recognition and motivation for the year ahead.

At Seminar, Goubeaux was recognized for leading her unit to excellence, joining the ranks of the elite in  the $350,000 Unit Club, reserved for units completing at least $350,000 in retail sales in one fiscal year. Goubeaux was also named 18th in her National Area’s Court of Sales, and 20th in the Court of Sharing. By accomplishing all three of these feats, Goubeaux became one of just 37 other Independent Sales Directors in the Sapphire Seminar to achieve the Triple Star, which includes thousands of Independent Sales Directors and Beauty Consultants!

“It was an honor to represent my unit, as well as my customers, and be treated like royalty – including receiving diamonds – while in Dallas,” Goubeaux said. “I couldn’t have accomplished all that I have in the past year without God, my family, my unit and my customers! I just want to thank everyone for lifting me up, believing in me and increasing my drive to succeed!”

As a part of Mary Kay’s longstanding commitment to prevent and end domestic violence, Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants were encouraged to bring gently-used professional attire to donate to domestic violence shelters as part of The Mary Kay Foundation’s eighth annual “Suits for Shelters” program. To date, the program has collected more than 15,000 pieces of professional attire for domestic violence survivors seeking jobs.

“Coming off the heels of three record-breaking years in sales growth to become a $4 billion company, Seminar is an exciting time for Mary Kay and remains one of our most important company events with both new and long-time independent sales force members,” said Laura Beitler, Mary Kay Vice President of Recognition and Events. “Women of all ages and backgrounds continue to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of a Mary Kay business with more than 200,000 new Mary Kay independent businesses started in the U.S. this year.”
