Darke County Parks’
Annual Native Plant Sale
Everyone wants a beautiful landscape full of color, but what if that
landscape could be nearly maintenance free as well? The wildflowers and
grasses offered through Darke County Parks’ Native Plant Sale can help
you with the garden of your dreams!
For the 2011 Sale, plants will only be available via Pre-Sale. Order
forms are on our website @ www.darkecountyparks.org along with a list
of plants available (including some shade varieties!), a brief info
section and the price of each plant. Once you download the order form;
fill it out w/ the plants of your choosing, and mail it (with payment)
to the Darke County Parks’ office. Checks should be made payable
to Darke County Parks. Alternatively, you may hand-deliver your
order and payment to the Nature Center during normal business hours of
9a-5p Monday through Saturday.
This Pre-Sale will be the only way to purchase plants from our sale
this year. There will not be any plants available for “walk-in”
purchase. In addition, any plants not picked up by June 11, 2011 will
be considered a donation to the Park District and will be planted
within our prairies.
Order forms MUST be returned by April 15, 2011. Plants will be
available at the Nature Center for pickup June 4, 9a-4p.
