Reminder for CAP ‘Senior’ Picnic 

Community Action Partnership of Greater Dayton - Darke County will be hosting a Picnic in the Park for Darke Co. Senior Citizens July 14 at the Greenville City Park, Shelter #4. Sign-in begins at 10 a.m. Suggested donation for individuals 60 and older is $2.00. Those younger than 60 are asked to pay $7.49. The menu once again features hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, ambrosia, chips, and condiments, along with beverages. Seniors are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs. Bingo, corn hole toss, and the ever-popular cake walk will part of the activities. 

Carole Rhodus, Sr. Programs Coordinator at CAP, said, “It’s not too late to register. Just call 548-2727 no later than July 12,” and added, “transportation is available to those requesting it.”
