County Park District is
hosting Fly Fishing 101! Meet
at Shawnee
Prairie Preserve Nature Center on Saturday, July 23rd
at 9am. This
program is a continuation of Fly Tying
from this winter, but is open to anyone!
If you attended this winter’s fly tying
program, bring your flies!
This introduction to Fly Fishing will get us
outdoors at a nearby pond to test our flies and skills and trying to
net “the
big one”! Don’t
forget to bring water,
sunscreen and a hat is recommended.
