2nd Annual Dave’s Diggity Dog Festival
Garst Museum Lawn
Saturday, October 1st
10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Rain or Shine! 

“Have you heard the good news?  Word has it that there’s a festival in town and it’s for THE DOGS!”  We’re bringing the community together to celebrate our 4 legged friends in a FREE, fun, family-filled environment! So get out of the doghouse folks & bring a lawn chair and your canine for a barking good time! 

There will be a $12.00 entry fee onsite for all doggies that would like to participate in the dog walk, dog games, dog contests & wiener dog races (includes FREE doggie bags for 1st 100)!  You & your canine can win exciting raffle drawings throughout the day from Greenville’s local businesses! 

2011 Diggity Dog Schedule 

8:30 am – Doggie Registration Opens (Breakfast Offered)

9:30 am – Doggie/Owner Calisthenics

10:00 am – Mayor Bowers Opening Speech

10:00 am – Doggie Walk through City Park

10:00 am – Vendors & Children’s Activities Open (face painter & caricature artist)

10:00 am – Food vendors

10:00 am – Darke County Humane Society with adoptable pets & Animal Shelter

10:00 am – Greenville Area Dog Club Demos

10:30 am – Extreme Insanity Dog Sports Demos with Russell Rex

11:15 am – Doggie Contests & Awards (best dressed, cutest, owner/doggie look-a-like, etc.)

12:30 pm – K9 Unit Demos

1:30 pm – Disc Competitions

2:00 pm – Wiener Dog Races & Awards

3:00 pm – Dog Games (Prizes to the winners)

3:30 pm – Raffle Drawings for Big Prizes

3:45 pm – Blessing of the Animals 

A portion of the festival proceeds will help our friends at the Darke County Humane Society & Animal Shelter!  Discovery’s Animal Planet will be featuring our hometown festival on their website.  For more festival information or to download doggie forms, please visit our website at www.diggitydogfest.com or contact Angela Flory at 937-467-4547.
