Darke County Republican Women’s Club
Republican Candidates Q&A to be held 

On October 10, the public is invited to hear the Republican candidates who will appear on the ballot for the upcoming November 8 general election. 

Candidate for Darke County Municipal Court is Jesse Green. The office of Greenville Mayor is being sought by incumbent Republican Michael Bowers.  Republican candidate for Greenville auditor is incumbent Nancy Myers.  Greenville City Council hopefuls are Clarence Godwin to represent Ward 1 and incumbent John A. Baumgardner to represent Ward 4. 

Jim Buchy (OH77-R) will be presenting information regarding the issues appearing on the November 8 ballot.

 The program is being sponsored by the Darke County Republican Women’s Club.  The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. in the Chestnut Village Center of the Brethren Home Retirement Community. Each speaker  will address the audience with a question/answer period following. 

The club will be having a meal prior to the program. Anyone wishing to enjoy their evening meal with the group may do so by calling Wavelene Denniston at (937) 547-6477 or by sending an email to DCRWReservations@darkegop.org to place a reservation. Cost of the meal is $7.50. Any reservation made is expected to be paid. Reservations must be made before noon on October 6. The meal will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., please plan to arrive in plenty of time to check in, etc.
