Members will also “Meet the Candidates” for the Primary 
January 29, 2012 

“We are inviting interested Republican Women to attend our Membership Night on February 13.” Explained Darke County Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) president Sally Zeiter. “They will also get to meet the Republican Candidates who will be on the March 6 primary election ballot.” 

The club provides an opportunity for like-minded conservative women to meet once a month, enjoy dinner and an informative program. The members help recruit, promote and support qualified Republican women for political office. The group also gives exposure to and works actively for all Republican candidates, and lends support to other Republican organizations. 

DCRWC is part of the Ohio Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women – one of the largest political groups in the United States. 

Republican candidates who will be appearing on the March 6 Darke County primary ballot that have been invited to attend the meeting and address the group are:  Sharon Kennedy for Supreme Court of Ohio, Jeff Welbaum and Austin P. Wildman for Second District Court of Appeals, Keith Faber for the 12th Ohio Senate District, Jim Buchy for the 80th Ohio House District, Richard N. Adams for the 84th Ohio House District, Cindy Pike and Amanda Farley for Darke County Clerk of Courts, Diane L. Delaplane and Aaron J. Ward for Member of Darke County Board of Commissioners, Michael W. Rhoades for Member of Darke County Board of Commissioners, Timothy D. Kathman for Darke County Coroner, Jason Aslinger and James Detling for Judge of the Juvenile/Probate Division of the Darke County Common Pleas Court, R. Kelly Ormsby, III for Darke County Prosecuting Attorney, Linda Stachler for Darke County Recorder and Toby L. Spencer for Darke County Sheriff. 

The meeting will begin with dinner at 6:30 p.m. on February 13 in the Chestnut Village Center of the Brethren Home Retirement Community. Dinner is available by prior reservation, at a cost of $7.50 per person. 

Anyone wishing to join the group for dinner prior to the evening’s meeting and program may place reservations by calling or emailing Wavelene Denniston before noon on February 9. Reservations placed are expected to be paid. Wavelene’s phone is (937) 547-6477 or she may be emailed at: DCRWReservations@darkegop.org. Those wishing not to dine may arrive before 7 p.m. for the program.
