Cystic Fibrosis fundraiser set

SIDNEY- The third annual car, truck and bike show at Lehman High School in Sidney will be held July 21.
All proceeds from the event will go to Carter McNabb & Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

Carter, now four years old, was born with CF, a life shortening inherited disorder that affects the way salt and water moves into and out of the body’s cells. It causes the body to produce a thick, sticky mucus which clogs the lings. The abnormal mucus leads to chronic lung infection, fatal lung damage and also interferes with digestion.

There will be a registration fee of $10 per vehicle entered with trophies being awarded to the top 25 with one being Carter’s Choice.

There will also be food, door prizes, crafts and a raffle as well as a 50/50 drawing and a drivers pot.

Also, a cornhole tournament with a $20 registration fee ($10 for a car participant team.)

For more information, call Charles or Roseann at 937.492.3203 or 937.419.9404. You can also contact Josh at 937.418.3006.
