August is a busy month for Senior Moments 

August 7, 2012 is our regular meeting. The special guest is Armond Morales, the bass singer for the Imperials. He is a talented singer and has a wonderful testimony about his healing from cancer. He and his wife will be singing. This is truly a meeting you will not want to miss. 

August 14th....Picnic, Greenville Park, Shelter house #5, (close to the rest rooms) We will plan to eat at noon. Plates, utensils, napkins and drinks will be furnished. We always have lots of good food, so bring your favorite dish and plan to have fun. If you have any games, bring them and spend the afternoon with us. We will have fans, so if it is hot, we ‘ll keep you cool. 

The trip to Shipshewana is still not full. I cannot risk a $100.00 deposit without better response. If you would like to go, please let me know asap . The  show will feature Guy Penrod. The cost is $80.00 per person,,,inclusive. The only extra cost would be if you would like to buy lunch. The ticket includes dinner and the show. The dinner is served family style and drink, dessert and tip is included. The menu is extensive and you know it is always excellent. We will leave the Moose parking lot at 8:00 a.m. and return approx 11:30 p.m. The date is Sept 20, 2012. 

This is the best rate for a descent trip I could find. The cost of transportation has increased, thus driving up the price of the bus. I have to have a final count at the August meeting and half of the money. The final is due August 14th.
